THE IOR

Institute of Recruiters

Anyone who knows us, knows our total dedication to uplifting and repositioning recruitment in South Africa. Although there are many companies who pay lip service to the importance of great recruitment partners, few clients consistently and regularly evaluate the service and ethical levels of their recruitment suppliers. The same, if not worse can be said for the experiences that candidates endure. We say enough is enough and we stand behind this.

The importance of the right recruitment partner in order to capture top talent and manage employer brand experiences with candidates is critical.  As an essential professional service and talent consulting facility into businesses today, recruiters have tremendous value to bring, if they are the right recruiters.

With the aim of elevating the standard of recruitment in South Africa, Taudata is proud to announce our membership to the IOR (Institute of Recruiters) as a company and with each of our recruitment consultants as individual members.  The IOR was granted official UK Institute status by the Secretary of State for Business Innovation and Skills, Dr Vince Cable. The IOR is a professional recruitment membership body devoted to the adoption of standards, codes of conduct and compliance to lead the way globally for recruitment best practice, training and talent.

Azmat Mohammed, Director General of the IOR, comments “Our focus is on providing the necessary professional services to offer members the opportunity to become world-class.”

“I am delighted to playing a role in aligning best practice for recruitment in SA with true global excellence. The IOR are well positioned to establish authentic standards for delivery and ethics in an industry that has long needed a weeding out recruiters who operate below acceptable standards and whose questionable ethics place the entire recruitment industry in an unfavourable light.” Wanda.
